Okay, yes, I’m a virtual assistant and I also use a virtual assistant. My virtual assistant Dixie is my bookkeeper, but she also does other tasks for me.
As my bookkeeper she takes care of all of my business bookkeeping needs as well as my Clients bookkeeping needs. I contract with Dixie to handle my bookkeeping needs because bookkeeping is something that I do not enjoy doing nor is it something that I’m particularly good at. Dixie truly enjoys working with the books and is a great bookkeeper. As my bookkeeper she handles accounts payables, accounts receivables, invoicing to reconciling accounts.
Dixie also covers for me when I am unavailable. I went out of the town to a conference last year and my virtual assistant was here to handle everything and I did not have to worry. She took care of reading and following-up on emails on my behalf to ensure that none of my Clients were left uncared for. If something had come up Dixie would have handled it and I could relax and enjoy my conference knowing that my business was being watched after by someone who cares just as much about it as I do.
My virtual assistant also assists me with overflow on a variety of tasks from creating and maintaining forecast sheets, research, basic typing, transcription, and more. She also proofs and edits my newsletters and other items that I write. Dixie will handle virtually any task that I request of her and she has been an instrumental part of my company’s success, and frees me up to do the things that I need to focus on and gives me peace of mind when I am unavailable.
