Q What can I do to make tax season less confusing and less stressful for my small business?

A : Hire a virtual bookkeeper. A virtual bookkeeper can clean up your books, keep your bookkeeping organized, reconcile your accounts weekly/monthly, and assist you with those quarterly and year end reports that you will need to file your taxes. By utilizing a virtual bookkeeper you are making tax reporting easy for your small business.

EYE ON IT

Current Industry Trends: Social Media

twitter_iconSocial Media is a huge trend right now and I don’t see it going away anytime soon.

Virtually everyone has jumped on this bandwagon utilizing Facebook and Twitter, just two of the many social media outlets out there.

Are you on the social media bandwagon? Tell us how you use your social media to market your business and we just might use it in one of upcoming newsletters.

Software Pick: QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a great accounting tool to have in your arsenal. Not only can you invoice, but you can sync it with your bank, receive credit card payments, and allow access to your bookkeeper and accountant making it a great tool for those who work virtually to handle all their bookkeeping needs.
