It is said that every business should have a web presence, and to completely terrify you, you keep hearing that you should have a blog too, but you have no idea how or what to write.

Some common obstacles for starting or keeping a blog are:

  • no time -> start with 5 minutes a day
  • don’t know what to write about (topic) -> lots of ideas below
  • it’s already been written -> bring a fresh perspective to it
  • no way I can write like them -> NEVER compare your unique self to others! Be YOU!
  • writer’s block -> lots of ideas below 

You are not alone. Even a seasoned blogger suffers from writer’s block sometimes. You will go stretches when you’ll find you have plenty to write about, and then all of sudden it’s like the well just ran dry. This is perfectly normal for many, and there are solutions that can help you get through this.  Read more…

A :  Sometimes, knowing exactly what to delegate can be a challenging task in and of itself. The key here, is to sit down with pen in hand and write out a list of things for which you are not directly responsible for, you simply do not want to do, or your expertise is not up to par for that task at hand.

It’s obvious the office landscape has already changed for many SMB’s and entrepreneurs. They are no longer working from a brick-n-mortar office. These days they are working from their couch, table, the local coffee shop, daughter’s ballet class or son’s football practice and they are doing this quite effectively.

Software Pick: Important Change to Gmail

I know this is supposed to be a software pick article, but there has been some recent changes to Gmail that many of you are already experiencing. If you have not yet seen the changes you will soon as Gmail rolls them out. 

This article is by Dixie Lee, and she did a great job of summing it up for you. 

Over the past week the internet has been buzzing about Gmail and their changes to their inbox setup. Don’t panic! 

Common complaint from people is the amount of email in their inbox. It appears that Gmail decided it was time to create a solution to this problem.
