VA Monthly Tips

Q: Is my information secure when working with a virtual assistant?

A: Virtual Assistant’s take precautions to ensure that your information is secure by utilizing software programs that are installed on their computer to ensure your projects are secure. Such programs might include Norton Anitvirus or other antivirus software, firewalls, etc.[/dropshadowbox]

Current Industry Trends: Virtual Assistant

The virtual assistant industry is on the rise and with good reason. With the economic downturn and more and more people losing their jobs they have been forced to reconsider their options. Often they have opted to start their own business, become a writer/blogger, etc. With so many setting out on their own they quickly realize that while they love doing what they do they simply cannot do it along.

In comes the virtual assistant. As business owners and entrepreneurs realize they need help they seek out a great virtual assistant to handle those time consuming tasks so that they can focus on why they went out of business in the first place.

Software Pick: Skype

I may have mentioned this in a past newsletter, but felt it worth mentioning again. Skype is a great tool that offers free Skype to Skype calls, and instant messaging. You can also have video calls and video conferencing calls. Skype has add-ons that can be a great edition to your business, and other paid options like the Skype business manager.
