Learning to say NO is an important aspect to running your business as well as your personal life. While you would like to accommodate everyone, it just isn’t possible. Over-filling your To-Do list and the calendar will create more stress in your already busy life. There are times when you need to step back and review requests for your time.
So what can you do? First and foremost, you must keep focusing on your goals. Set aside and block out time for those important but often not scheduled priorities such as family and friends. You must be convinced that you and your priorities are important. Once convinced of that, saying no to the unimportant in life gets easier.
