Throughout this series we have been focusing on techniques to manage the amount of time in your day. Remember, we all have the same number of hours but it’s what you do with them that matters to your business. In Tip #5 we talked about the importance of using a To-Do list however, this week we’re going to see what can be delegated or eliminated from it. This is called the Art of Intelligent Neglect.
As you are reviewing that To-Do List, look at each task and think about it’s relevance to your business. Is it something that is going to produce income? If not immediately, then eliminate it. Next look again and see which tasks could effectively be handled by someone else. This may be a good time to think about hiring a virtual assistant who can take some of the administrative tasks off that list.
