We are now into the official closing of 2013. It’s time to call the CPA’s and get those taxes done, and if you haven’t done so already get your 2014 ducks in a row. Hopefully, you have them in a row now, but just in case here are a few tips.
Clean up that workspace
-Scan any loose receipts, papers, etc. and file them away
-Get rid of that pile of dishes, uneaten food, food wrappers, etc.
-Dust things off a bit/or a lot 😉
Clean out your email
-File attachments and delete
-Respond to any unresponded emails and file accordingly
Celebration time 🙂
-It’s time to celebrate another successful year. Even if you hit a few bumps in the road you’re still here. Celebrate your victories now, and then plan on how to make it better next year.
Did you remember to thank your clients?
-This year, I personally sent out a simple handwritten post card to our clients offering a discount for being so supportive and loyal to our company.
Did you track your data last year?
-It’s time to review, analyze, and see what needs to be done to make 2014 better.
Establish clear goals for 2014
-Establishing goals help you stay on track and focused. Set those goals with reasonable deadlines and stick to them.
