Ch Ch Ch Ch Changes …
… are all around me. My grandmother passed away this month. It was a very sad and also a very challenging moment for me as I had to face the loss of her life. I also had to deal with family issues, that while they came as no real surprise, where still very frustrating just the same.

Other changes occurring is the growth of my children. They are literally changing and blossoming each day in front of my eyes. What amazing and beautiful human beings they are becoming. It’s no doubt I am one proud mama. I still remember the day they were born, took their first steps, got their first tooth and more … just like it was yesterday. Today my oldest is 21 years old and my youngest is 10 years old. My oldest used to be so gun shy you couldn’t get him out of the house. Now that he’s working I’m seeing some real changes take place in him. (I’m smiling – can you see it?) And my baby girl, my little ladybug is not so little anymore. She’s going to be a big 5th grader in a few weeks, and she’s making big plans for this school year. This year, with the Lord’s blessing’s, I will actually be able to afford some of her big plans. I can’t wait to see to the smile on her face when I tell her she can join the cheerleading squad or whatever team it is she wants to be on.

I have changed so much over the past few years it amazes me when I look back. If you had known me then … boy what a hot mess I was. Trying to figure out how to make a life for me and my children. Terrified and frozen in place for such a long time, but finally getting up the courage to make that leap. It seemed like such huge and insurmountable leap at the time, but I took it and here we are today …
… which has led to growth and changes in my business. Right now it’s so busy I’m feeling the overwhelm that comes from those growing pains that I discussed a couple issues ago. I’m working toward utilizing more independent contractors and growing my team so that my business can continue to grow without the restraints of lack of manpower, but I’ll be honest – it’s a challenging hurdle. Oh don’t get me wrong here … I’m super stoked that I’m growing, but it is challenging. I’m meeting with a business coach to brain storm my next moves and how to make this transition a little easier.
If you are experiencing changes in your business I recommend talking to someone whether it a be a coach or just someone who can act as a sounding board to hash out your next moves. Tweet This! Create a plan to smooth out the transition, and remember to relax and breathe (as my health and wellness coach always says) so you can stay focused and calm during the transition.
I’m looking forward to continued growth. I love serving my clients and I love my JOB! I’m so thankful that I took that step nearly 5 years ago and I’m looking forward to this coming month to see what it has in store for me.
