I’m celebrating my second year in business this year, and I’m giving myself permission to truly celebrate. No, I don’t mean having a wild party but rather allowing myself to rejoice in my accomplishments.
Through my faith, my personal victories and losses, my struggles with finding my place in this world after many years of caregiving and marriage that ended in divorce. Learning to live as a single parent, as a person whose role is no longer the caregiver to now being an independent entrepreneur who has learned and is still learning to take the bull by the horns and live the life I was meant to live.
I hope all of you will celebrate this moment with me. You all know how difficult it is for any new business just to make it past their first year and businesses like mine that faced so many obstacles out of the gate find it even more difficult to keep going.
When I first started I had a $1 and some change in my bank account. I had a used laptop, used printer (that was ducted taped together or it wouldn’t print), desk, chair, and bare bones business supplies. I’m a single mom and this is my income. I did not and do not have another job. With two children, house, car, house full of pets, and the typical expenses we all have it was especially important if I started this business that it succeed.
I’ve worked very hard, many long hours to the point of exhaustion at times. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining. Just telling you where I’m coming from.
I’m so thrilled to be celebrating two years this month and I just wanted to share it with everyone. Especially with those of you that follow me, subscribe to my lists, who connect with me on my forums, and even more especially my clients and my team. Without you I would not be celebrating today. You are the backbone of my business and I want to thank you for your loyalty and support. Most of all I want to thank God for allowing me all the riches in this world He has blessed me with.
Thank you! Love You! May God Bless You All!!!
