Be True To Yourself

April was a really awesome month! I turned 45, and we had a really great Easter. My baby boy had to have surgery and it went very well, and my baby girl got her cast off and is on the honor roll again with perfect attendance. The weather has been beautiful, and my children and I have been enjoying cooking out.

The business is also doing well. We’ve been super busy working on a marketing campaign project with one of our client’s teams. We’ve been putting together all the landing pages, graphics, and opt-ins for this effort. We even did a landing page for Facebook for this project. Love it!

I helped one of my associates put together a new logo, header, tag line, and some content for her new branding effort and I must say I just love her new website design. She is not finished with it yet, but it is coming along nicely and I think her site is just going to look brilliant once it’s done.

There’s been a ton of discussion lately amongst my peers about being true to yourself in business. Especially when discussing branding, building websites, social media, and what not. I think we all came to the same consensus that we’ve all bitten off the apple that says you must do 1, 2, and 3 and you must do it like A, B, and C. We all agreed that this cookie cutter mold is not going to work for everyone and in fact probably shouldn’t work for most of us if we really want to connect with the right people. My conclusion on the topic is that we should really be true to ourselves. Find a way to let others see who we are with all our unique qualities and talents because if we can do that then we will start attracting the type of people that mesh well with who we are and what we want to accomplish with our lives and our businesses.

I hope you all have an enjoyable May and happy early Mother’s Day to all you Mom’s out there because you totally ROCK!!!

Rhonda
